Table lamp designed by Eileen Gray. (attr.) France 1930s.
Manufacturer: Jumo Model 71.
Modernist Bauhaus style. Design classic.
Very solid heavy quality.
Cast iron base
Original condition of the 1930s.
Original switch
No dents in the shade or base.
No paint chips.
Chrome plating in good condition.
Gray painted corrugated aluminium.
Slight signs of age. ( see detailed photo)
Newly electrified. Twist bulbs.
Very good desk or reading lamp. The lamp can be adjusted to different positions.
This work lamp is often seen on the set in Old French crime films as part of the police station.
