Art Nouveau Table Lamp With Cameo Tulips, 20th Century
About the Item
An Art Nouveau table lamp titled "Départ des Hirondelles" (Departure of the Swallows), depicting a graceful forest nymph in flowing drapery, signed “L. Raphael” on the base.
This sculptural lamp is a poetic homage to nature, crafted from dark patinated metal alloy and elevated by three elegantly curved arms ending in orange cameo glass tulip shades.
The fluidity of the nymph’s movement and the organic shape of the arms evoke the natural elegance of early 20th-century design, typical of the Art Nouveau period.
Each shade is hand-blown in vibrant, mimicking the warm glow of a sunset when illuminated.
This unique piece is rewired and in working condition, making it suitable as a statement post lamp or a decorative table lamp for refined interiors.
