About the Item
Tall Murano Italian handblown seafoam green colored glass table lamp by Alfredo Barbini. The lamp has vertical ribs with controlled gold bubbles throughout, resting on an antiqued giltwood base. Newly wired with new 3 way brass socket and fittings. Glass alone is 20" tall, overall height top of socket 26".

Alfredo Barbini (1912–2007), a glass artist born in 1912 on the islands of Murano in the lagoon of Venice, Italy, was one of Murano's leading figures of the 20th century. His parents were members of families, which had been prominent in the glassmaking industry on Murano for generations as glassblowers and beadmakers.
