About the Item
The Beacon 18" small table lamp features a handcrafted walnut body and cream linen shade. Its modern Silhouette is perfectly balanced with clean, proportional lines and curves that reference Mid-Century Modern form language. Carefully selected hardwoods and glowing linens emphasize the beauty of high quality, natural materials. This timeless piece checks all the right boxes. Bulb sold separately.
Lamp options: Maple or walnut hardwood
Shade options: Black or cream linen
A hand-applied, low VOC finish brings out the rich luster of the hardwood, highlighting the characteristics of the grain and beautiful color variations that are unique to each piece.
The handmade linen shade features a rolled edge. The lamp operates with a single turn brass knob and has an 8-foot, black twisted fabric-covered cord.
The lamp measures 18" tall with a width and depth of 11".
Fans of transitional style, take note! The natural materials and neutral coloration make this piece a perfect choice for contemporary as well as more traditional home interior designs. DUNN is a small Rhode Island based design and manufacturing firm, born in 2010 from designer Asher Rodriquez-Dunn's exploration into the intersection between nature, craft, and the spirit of adventure. Asher was recognized as an Emerging Designer and inducted into the Rhode Island Design Hall of Fame in 2015.

About the Glaze
We developed our own glaze recipes and mix them in small batches regularly. There will be variation. Our vanilla bean glaze is a semi-matte, almost satin finished white glaze with specs that remind us of vanilla bean ice-cream. Because this is a drippy glaze we dip the bottom of the lamp a few inches up with our snowflake to catch the drip. Our oyster glaze is a beautifully neutral cream colored gloss glaze that is quite drippy. You may see some layering drips and the bottom is dipped a few inches up with our glossy white glaze to keep the cream glaze from hitting the kiln shelf.
