Biny table lamp by Jacques Biny. Current production of table lamp number 231 by Jacques Biny designed and manufactured in France. Steel, aluminum. Rewired for U.S. standards. This iconic table lamp is noted for an alien like quality in the luminary world and is a radically effective Minimalist object. Originally created in 1958, this table lamp still feels very modern. An excellent reading light, Biny designed it with fins that direct the intense light onto the entirety of the intended area providing soft and surprisingly effective lighting. The manufacturer recommends one CLI DETACHEABLE LED UNIT 6W + SPOT LED 2W 2700K bulb. Bulbs not provided. Comes in black or black/white.
