Model DL/27 table lamp made by Annelise and Per Linnemann-Schmidt for Palshus in the 1960s. The colour of the handmade decorated base is Green Blue. It has impressed patterns. The lamp comes with its original lampshade holder. The lampshade and the bowl are for display purposes only and are not part of the offer. Inside the shade there is a metal ring that can be placed on the lampshade holder. On top of our shade is a loose cover made of the same material. The height of the chamotte (texture clay) base of the lamp is 33 cm / 13 inch (excl. fitting and excl. lampshade holder). The lampshade holder is adjustable in height. Beautiful Scandinavian lamp by Per et Annelise Linnemann Schmidt for Palshus, Denmark, circa 1960. Enamelled chamotte decorations with horizontal stripe, orange-brown glaze. In excellent condition. Lamp shade not included. Dimensions in cm of the ceramic body ( H x D ) : 46 x 18 Secure shipping. Per Linnemann (1912-1999) was the son of the Danish sculptor Willie Wulff. Later he took the name of his father-in-law Schmidt. Per entered the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen in 1931 and worked as a sculptor, when he was between 30 and 40 years old, as a specialist in portraits. In 1949 he opened Palhus Stenøj (the sandstone) with his wife Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt (born Sprechler). They moved into a house to work and live in. The house was located in Sengeløse outside Copenhagen. Per designed and his wife managed the business. The articles were sold in the department store Den Permanente in Copenhagen.
