About the Item
A modernist table lamp, model 8406, produced by the Swedish manufacturer Boréns in the 1940s. Crafted from brass, it features a disc-shaped upper shade supported by a solid elm pillar. The lamp stands on a circular brass base with an integrated light switch and is fitted with two lamp holders beneath the shade. Perforated grooves in the shade cast beautiful shadows on the ceiling above.
