Unicorn. I've never seen another. Rare mid-century modern table lamp fitted on the stem with a three dimensional lightning bolt.
Designed by Edmund (Edmond) Spence for Rembrandt Lamps Corp.
The brass has been newly replated.
Uplight fitted with a stylish milk glass bowl. Your own lampshade can rest on top.
Three way switch on socket cup.
Takes a single standard edison screw lightbulb.

One of my favorite lamps. I love the atomic mace-like sputnik starburst ball of spikes seeming to hover above the crisp round brass conical base.
It is unclear who originally made it. Some say Laurel or Stiffel. I believe it was Mutual Sunset Lamp Company but have yet to find documentation.
My only grievance with the original is that the material was not real brass; it was cast aluminum with a brass finish which is prone to wear off...
