About the Item
Designed and manufactured by Andrew Kornat Designs this stunning pair or table lamps are 100% handmade from scratch in Brass and Bronze and made in seven individual sections before assembly - this lamp is based on the leaves of a Pineapple which is a historical symbol of hospitality, welcome and good fortune
The Pineapple leaves are cast from solid Bronze using the lost wax technique and cast in 4 separate sections for each layer, these are mounted on a plinth made from 5mm plates of solid brass which are chamfered and welded internally to create the clean sharp edges of the cube base, on which the leaves stand elevated on an upturned trumpet cone
The central rod has two lamp holders pointing down to illuminate the cast bronze leaf details and has a finial fitting shade with a mouth blown glass finial
This pair of lamps is available from stock in Matt Gold varnish finish plinth and stem with Shiny Gold varnish leaves - they are listed for sale without shades and require finial fitting shades anything between 15" - 18" diameter
Wired with 2 x E27/ES lamp holders in each lamp - we can easily rewire for the USA Market if required (at no additional cost if purchased at full price). If made to order any global wiring can be specified
