About

This handcrafted bronze table lamp is made in France. With an apple tree branch in black polished bronze as leg, a lampshade in handmade black silk with interior gold, a brass plate, a switch with its black cable, this lamp belongs to the Bronze Sauvage collection which gathers this lamp, a simple side table and a group of three side tables. Each table lamp is signed and numbered. The gold interior of the lampshade is reflecting on the black leg that turns to gold when the lamp is lighted. Nice surprise. "One day, I found a piece of apple tree branch. Its elegant, simple and natural form gave me the idea to keep it and paint it black to give it a more dramatic side and why not to enter in a curiosity cabinet. For a long time I looked at this tree branch and told myself thta someday I will do something with it. My meeting and exchanges with Fanny and Léandre Carbonneaux and their knowledge of the know how made me want to complete my idea. We agreed on the shape and the bronze became the ideal material. That’s how the Bronze Sauvage (Wilde Bronze ») collection was born and how Plumbum decided to edit it.
