About the Item
An exceptional table lamp or lightning sculpture, unique piece by artist Samuel Schlosser also called Contini, signed Contini on the base. This organic metal brutalist sculpture enlights itself and its environment, from inside, through several metal openings and through 2 translucent pieces on 2 sides : a beautiful blue stone to be placed as wished in a difficult space, and a piece of brown melted glass (that piece is cracked but complete). At the end, this strong piece enlights itseld as much as its environment, with an irradiant presence. This piece is an authentic brutalist sculpture, roughly finished by the artist, patinated by time. The glass and stone pieces are dangerously floating in this iron jungle, menacing to hurt or break at any time. This is part of this piece of Art! The melted brown glass is cracked and broken in very straight parts wich still hold in position without any loss and without being visible! Is this break made by the artist or later, we don't know... But accident and risk are part of this construction and likely, entirely created by the artist!
