About the Item
A strong and very dramatic, organic and almost zoomorphic, massive wood table lamp, made by an anonymous French artist from the 60s, using a natural piece of tree to form a tripod sculpture.
This is a great example of a Rustic Modern, Brutalist creation, combining a tripod organic structure base, with a natural movement inside the wood body, electrified to diffuse light throught a classical shade (wich can be replaced by any other cylindrical or rectangular shape and size.

It is undoubtedly a unique piece made by a (still) anonymous artist, who is part of an important brutalist movement, of modernist and hippie inspiration, which developed in the French countryside in the 60s-70s, reusing natural pieces of wood to make furniture and lighting creations, in the lineage of creators like Jean Touret, the Artisans de Marolles, Alexandre Noll and others.
