C. 1988 Tabla Table Lamp by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo for Italiana Luce
About the Item
This is a Tabla table lamp, designed by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo for Italiana Luce in 1988. This piece has an extendable adjustable arm, made of lightweight polycarbonate plastic, that gracefully pivots on the peak of a conical base. The base is constructed of aluminum. The transformer of this halogen lamp is housed in the base of the lamp, keeping the sculptural lines unfettered by cords or switches.
The lamp measures 38 inches in length, 4.5 inches in width and 27 inches in length.
In 1998, Italiana Luce was purchased by Nemo, which included Barbaglia and Colombo’s lighting oeuvre. Nemo later would become the lighting division of Cassina S.p.A.. While one may see licensed reproductions of this design under either of the aforementioned companies, the original tagged Italiana Luce pieces remain the most coveted. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
