About the Item
Extraterrestial table lamp from the 1970ies.
Josef Simon & Joseph Schelle founded the German company Sische Leuchte in 1946. Initially producing lampshades they soon extended into lamps for their first public exhibition in 1949. The 1970’s designs saw reduced forms and new colours. During the 1980`s the company worked in collaboration with German designer Luigi Colani to produce beautifully balanced extravagant yet functional lights.
