Ceramic lampbase by Emile Tessier at Malicorne

About the Item

Beautiful French ceramist Émile Tessier's lamp base from the 1940s. A touch of French classicism with that milky white hue, reminiscent of Jean Roger's work, another French ceramist. This lamp is perfect for an elegant office in a stylish interior. Works perfectly with B22 type bulbs. Its size is 10.24 inches with the socket and 7.48 inches of ceramic alone. The base's diameter is 5.12 inches. Its scalloped shape is simply stunning. A few small scratches can be noticed on the corolla, but they remain minimal. No cracks or restoration. The rest is in very good condition for nearly 80 years.
