Beautiful midcentury lamp by Boch Frères with geometrical patterns and very modern colours. The enamel is slightly grainy with a beautiful shine. The tapered shape gives it a great elegance.
The ceramic measures 23 cm, 41 cm with the lampshade. The diameter of the ceramic is 9 cm.
The lamp is in very good condition.

Royal Boch is an earthenware factory located in La Louvière, Belgium. Founded in 1841, it markets its products under the name Keramis.
The factory was founded in 1841 by Eugène and Victor Boch, descendants of a family of earthenware makers since the 18th century.
Production, which began in 1844, grew rapidly. Kéramis took part in the Universal Exhibition in Paris.
During the 19th century, Dutch craftsmen were hired. Charles Catteau was hired at the end of 1906 as a draughtsman (creation and painting of decorations) and quickly became head of the decoration department. We owe him a significant production of Art Deco products...
