About the Item
This is a rather stunning Chinese porcelain vase made for export to the West in the early 20th century. The vase has been mounted on a heavy brass base.
The porcelain is painted with a very lively guardian scene on front and back side. Butterflies, birds and flowers on the remaining two sides. Bright and vivid hand painted decoration. Finial included. No shade.
