Collectible Space Age Table / Desk Lamp in Steel and Plexiglass
About the Item
Intriguing desk/table lamp in metal, with an opaline plexiglass lampshade. Made in Italy in the 1970s, it's a stunning example of Space Age design, and looks great in many contexts: it's a perfect desk lamp, but looks nice on a bedside table, it is perfect on a sideboard but also pairs well with a coffee table. The only limit is your fantasy and taste.
To make things more interesting, the lamp can also swivel around its chromed stem, allowing to light up a wide area around the base. It is in perfect working order and great cosmetic conditions, with only minor and expectable signs of the time. Its plexiglass shade looks as good as a glass one, but makes it less fragile and less stressful to move around and style.
