Contemporary Sculptural Sustainable Concrete Lamp by James Haywood

About the Item

'Erreur 404' 16" is a sculptural concrete lamp designed by London-based contemporary lighting designer James Haywood. It is created using low-impact concrete, with an environmental footprint 45 times smaller than that of Portland cement, recycled PETG (a modified plastic commonly used to manufacture water bottles) for the mold, recycled cotton for the cable, and 100% natural bamboo for the plug. The sustainable concrete mixture, created using ground slag- a byproduct of blast furnaces- is poured into 3D-printed recycled plastic molds which are then broken to reveal the final structure- making each lamp one of a kind. The Erreur 404 16" style includes an on/off switch along the cord.
