Continental 19th Century Louis XV St. Porcelain And Ormolu Lamp
About the Item
A beautiful Continental 19th century Louis XV st. porcelain and ormolu lamp. The lamp is raised by a striking most decorative foliate ormolu wrap around band in a rich satin and burnished finish. The elegantly shaped body displays wonderfully executed colorful hand painted flowers on one side and a man holding a child on the other side amidst most decorative scrolled foliate gold tooled designs. Superb scrolled ormolu handles lead up each side to the beautiful mottled floral top cap.
