About the Item

This bright yellow clamp lamp by Cosack with an adjustable gooseneck was made in Germany, probably in the late 60s, early 70s of the last century. Rather rare in this color, this lamp is in very good condition with only few signs of its age and use. This plug-in lamp is designed for a stand E27 screw-in bulb and is operated by a rocker or seesaw switch which is attached to the clamp base. The clamp has been designed for a surface thickness of max 3 cm (1.2 in) and new felt protection seems to have been added on the inside of the clamp relatively recently. A sticker on the base features the Cosack logo as well as the Model Number 51/9840/38 along with the VDE test mark (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker - Association of German Electrical Engineers). A second sticker advises the user that they need to bend rather than twist the arm to adjust the light.
