Cut Glass Columnar Lamp with a Hand Sewn Linen Shade- Neo-Classical Style
About the Item
Hand blown cut glass neo-classical style columnar lamp. This lamp was originally made with an oil font at the top. Most were converted in the 1920’s to electric. The shaft is slice cut on six sides and sits on a round base and three squares of cut glass. The very bottom is star cut. The Corinthian capital is silver plated. The shade is hand sewn pleated linen with an applied border of twisted cords.
