Danish Ceramic Table Lamp Blue and Brown Glaze Bamboo Shade, Modern, 1960s
About the Item
Mid-century ceramic table lamp from a Danish studio workshop. Made ca. 1950s to 1960s. The lamp includes a vintage bamboo lamp shade.
The lamp has a blue and brown glaze.
The lamp isn't signed and the designer is unknown. The style is reminiscent of Gutte Eriksen.
The lamp wears the original paper sticker from the shop where it was sold, Keramikstuen, in Aarhus Denmark. Keramikstuen was run by the Danish artist Erling Gregers and his wife for 8 years around late 1950s and 1960s. Here they sold Danish handicrafts.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The lamp shade has a beautiful patina and shows minor normal signs from age and use.
LAMP SHADE: The lamp comes with the vintage bamboo lamp shade shown in the first photos. If you prefer you can also get it with a new fabric lamp shade which is off white with some texture as shown in the last two photos (shade diameter: 28 cm (11.02"))

The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
