About the Item

Very tall Mid-century Danish table lamp from the ceramic workshop Palshus. The lamp was designed by Per Linnemann-Schmidt and manufactured circa 1960s. The lamp is made with chamotte clay which gives a rough and vivid surface. The glaze is moss green with pale blue. Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. Measurements: Height with lamp shade: 78,5 cm (30.91") height can be slightly adjusted Height with socket: 56,5 cm (22.24") Height without socket (ceramic base only): 50 cm (19.69") Diameter base: 12,5 cm (4.92") Diameter lamp shade: 38 cm (14.96") The lamp is a factory first edition and fully marked on bottom. Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.

Additions or alterations made to the original: We have added a new lamp shade. Wear consistent with age and use. Factory first edition! The lamp remains in very good vintage condition with full function. No chips, cracks or repairs. A minor spot isn't covered by glaze from production. The lamp comes with a new lamp shade as seen in the images.
