Danish Modern Palshus Very Tall Midnight Blue Table Lamp with Shade, 1960s

About the Item

Very tall midcentury Danish table lamp from the ceramic workshop Palshus. The lamp was designed by Per Linnemann-Schmidt and manufactured circa 1960s or early 1970s. The lamp has a vivid midnight blue glaze with matte and partly glossy surface and elements of brown. Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is natural white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. Measurements: Height with lamp shade: 76,5 (30.12") (height can be adjusted) Height with socket: 55,6 cm (21.89") Height without socket (ceramic base only): 48 cm (18.90") Diameter base 12,5 cm (4.92") Diameter lamp shade: 38 cm (14.96") The lamp is a factory first edition and fully marked on bottom. It's in a very good vintage condition with full functionality. Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.

Additions or alterations made to the original: We have added a new lamp shade. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition with full function. No chips, cracks or repairs. The lamp comes with a new lamp shade as seen in the images. There is a very small chip on top of the socket which is hidden by the shade.
