Danish Glass Cascade Table Lamp for Holmegaard by Per Lütken

About the Item

Rare handblown Art glass holmegaard table lamp by Per Lütken Holmegaards Cascade table lamps was designed around 1970 by Per Lütken (1916-1998) and are considered very rare due to limited production. They are made in opaline glass with colored fluxes that melt during processing and form unpredictable patterns and then covered in crystal glass. Cascade was conceived as a reaction to the "perfect" uniform glass, but was too expensive and cumbersome for large-scale production. Condition good US compatible but adapter required for plug. The measurements listed are without lampshade. And to the socket. The thick handblown gives the lamp a weight of 1.5 kg.
