About the Item
Mid-century Danish ceramic table lamp by Fridtjof Sejersen for Sejer. Made ca 1960s to 1970s. It´s made in his own studio workshop in Nr. Aaby on the Danish island Funen which he ran from 1941 to 1978.
The lamp has an interesting glaze in dark blue with hints of rust brown. The very top and bottom show the dark brown unglazed chamotte clay.
The lamp is handmarked on bottom: Sejer Stentøj (stoneware) Unic Danmark
Included is a new lamp shade designed and made in Denmark.
It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is off white.
It has a top cover so it will spread a cosy light downwards.
The lamp is in very good used condition with full function.
Measurements:
Height including lamp shade (as shown in photos): 46,5 cm (18.31") (height can be adjusted)
Height ceramic part only (without socket): 25 cm (9.84")
Diameter lamp base: 15,5 cm (6.10")
Diameter lamp shade: 26 cm (10.24")
Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
