Danish Sculptural Table Lamp with Brown Stripes by Eva & Johannes Andersen 1960s
About the Item
Rare Danish Modern table lamp by the ceramic workshop Eva & Johannes Andersen. Made ca. 1960s.
The sculptural kalabas shaped lamp is decorated with a handpainted stripe decor which emphasizes the curved shape. The colors are a muted matte brown and rust brown on pale gray.
The decoration is either by Eva or Johannes Andersen or by the Danish ceramist Kai Klinge who also worked for the studio for a period. The decor resembles his style and colors.
The lamp is marked on bottom: E&J (for Eva & Johannes Andersen) Danmark and shape no. A68.
