An elegant and understated bidriware vase with fine engraved silver surface, the thin neck with protruding collar, the main body profusely decorated with a rested pattern of vertical bands of abstracted poppy heads terminating with love birds - these are thought to be inspired by formal gardens. Northern India, Mid Eighteenth Century H 24 x W 12.5 cms
