An English carved marble table lamp dating to circa 1920, newly wired for use in the USA and mounted on a custom clear lucite base. The lamp’s carved column tapers upward from a circular foot, encircled at midsection with a rope motif, and terminates in a stylized cluster of feathers forming the capital.
The creamy white marble is subtly veined, lending depth to the surface and accentuating the crisp detailing of the carving.
