Exceptional Pair of Cast Urn Lamps with Elephant Head Detail
About the Item
A striking pair cast urn lamps. Solid brass with beautiful relief and detail with solid brass accents. Bronze finish applied and then distressed, revealing brass highlights hidden beneath. Elephant heads mark the neck for drama and good luck. Exquisite jewelry ! While the lamps are unmarked, they recall the Marbro lamp production of the late 1950's and early 1960's. Excellent Restored Condition, with fabulous patina. The pieces have been rewired with clear cord and have new lucite bases. The pair come complete with new neutral silk shades and simple brass/lucite ball finial. The diameter at the widest part of the body is 12". Diameter noted is per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.
