Exquisite Pair of Brass Urn Lamps in the Style of Maison Jansen
About the Item
A stunning pair of large-scale vintage brass urn lamps. Heavy cast brass with wonderful detail. The clever vine handle design is a whimsical interpretation/variation of the Classic "Ram's Head" motif. Fine, exceptionally crafted pieces. These elegant lamps will be equally effective in either a Modern or Traditional interior. While unmarked, the overall design quality and detail are consistent with Maison Jansen production of the 1960s-1970s. Fabulous jewelry! Excellent restored condition. The lamps have been re-wired using silk cord; new brass three-way sockets with brass turn switch. Complete with new silk shades (color: Egg; size: 11" x 20" x 13" high) and new cylinder Lucite/brass finials. Brass displays a lovely warmth and patina. Width and depth noted are per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.
