About the Item
Beautiful Pair of very Large and Solid Brass Mid Century Table Lamps from the ‘70s produced by DeKnudt in Belgium which craftsmanship is renowned for its quality and beauty. Still in very good condition with some normal signs of wear appropriate to its age.
The lamps are designed in the shape of Eagles, with each eagle standing on a round base. The eagles have outstretched wings, which support the lampshades. The lampshades themselves are made from silk, which has been carefully selected to complement the brass. The silk is a soft, pale cream color, which provides a warm, welcoming glow when the lamps are switched on. The shades are held in place by brass fittings, which match the eagles and the bases perfectly. Both lamps have 3 lightbulbs with one having a special smaller soft light which can be lighted separately. Each lamp measures approximately 75 centimeters in height, making them a substantial presence in any room. The lamps are both functional and beautiful, providing a warm, welcoming glow while also serving as a striking decorative element in any room.
