French Art Deco Anglepoise Desk Lamp in Chrome
About the Item
French Art Deco Anglepoise Desk Lamp in Chrome
A stylish and adjustable Art Deco Anglepoise Desk Lamp that can be angled into a wide variety of positions due to its three point adjustment system.
Its cast iron base helps to anchor it to a table or surface. Underneath the weighted base is a screw clamp to secure it in place to a desk if needed.
Its finish is in bright chrome plate and the bulb shade is in polished aluminium, possibly a later addition.
An attractive and sturdy lamp in very good condition, with only minor marking to the base.
The lamp has been tested and is in full working order. As with all electrical lighting we recommend having it tested by an approved electrician. It comes with a low energy E27 cool screw-in bulb. The bulbs screws into an adaptor that fits into the original bayonet fitting. The use of the E27 screw-in bulb reduces the heat output, making it safe to use on a desk.
