French Art Deco Wooden Table Lamp by Charles Dudouyt, France, ci. 1930s

About the Item

Art Deco wooden table lamp attributed to French designer Charles Dudouyt, hand-carved in France circa 1930s. The lamp features strong geometric lines and a solid, sculptural presence, hallmarks of Dudouyt’s work during the Art Deco period. Known for his use of robust forms and textured materials, Dudouyt often blended traditional craftsmanship with modernist principles. This piece is paired with an original early 20th-century wicker lampshade, which adds a natural, understated complement to the carved wood base. A well-preserved example of French Art Deco design with honest materials and workmanship. We specialized in 20th century ceramics, glass and objects, like lamps, side tables, stools, mirrors, etc. Please check out our storefront ¨Gorgeous Vases¨ for more items in this style.
