About the Item
French, Mid-Century table lamp from the 1970's, designed in a Jean Prouvé influenced style. The enameled metal shade in beige and black features a louvered detail that somewhat echoes the windows found in Prouvé's "Maison Tropical". A handsome square marble base holds the hardware and black enameled metal stem. The lamp is in original condition and has a patina that is appropriate for its age and use.
