About the Item
A sculptural alabaster table lamp from France, early 20th century. The creamy white stone radiates a warm glow before turning on the lightbulb, and when illuminated every turned and carved feature of the bulbous silhouette is revealed. The (new) conical linen shade diffuses the light from a standard-base bulb with on-off switch on the socket. Professionally cleaned and rewired to US electrical standards using UL-listed parts including a black fabric cord, ready for your interior. Note there are a few chips and “flea bites” around the edges of the stone, please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
