Vintage French table lamp made from lacquered capiz (windowpane oyster shell) backed with velum then stretched on a metal wire frame and a 7" x 7" painted wooden base.. Behind the large round disk is a capiz wrapped cylinder inside of which is a single socket for a candelabra sized bulb.
