Gas Lamp in Glass, Gilded Bronze and Enameled Porcelain, 19th Century

About the Item

Gas lamp in glass, gilded bronze and enameled porcelain, 19th century. A pedestal with rockery and medallions serves as a base for the porcelain vase decorated with roses that makes the lamp body, and features two metal handles. The upper part has the key to control the gas outlet, and the flame is protected by a glass cylinder that is wrapped by a rose-colored glass flower and carved. Without forgetting the functionality of these works, time and effort has been devoted to the decorative part because it is a lamp for an interior of importance." Size: 30 x 30 x 85 cms.
