Gold Plated Tear Drop Table Lamp by Hugo Asmussen, 1960s
About the Item
A rare rather monumental 24 carat gold plated table light in the shape of a Tear Drop. Hence its name. It was designed and manufactured during the 1960s by Hugo Asmussen in Denmark. The base/foot of the light shows ware and patina due to patination of the metal underneath that has found its way through the gold plating in a few places. Measurements: H: 38 cm with bulb. Diameter: 20 cm. The new shade in the photo is a model shade and is not included. Please personalize with your own choice.
