Here is a splendid rattan table lamp that exemplifies grace and nature! Spun rattan is weaved into an impressive and eye-catching shape! In the 1970s the world was experiencing a re-discovering of the arts and crafts style in furnishings. Natural woods and fabrics were all the rage and designers of this period generated a whole design paradigm around rattan and bamboo during this period.
Italian artisans were spectacular, because they managed to blend elegance with the more earthy natural materials! This lamp is a feast for the eyes! A marvelous mid century lamp that is extremely scarce as well.
