About

This lamp was designed for study and floor, inspired by the traditional graphic symbols in traditional Arab architectural features known as muxarabis, very present in Brazilian Colonial architecture. The muxarabis are a legacy of Islamic architecture which allows spaces to simultaneously benefit from ventilation, natural lighting and privacy. The effect of light and shadow of muxarabis on indoor or outdoor environments is incredible, therefore nothing more pertinent than applying this effect to a lamp. We hope this will be a modest contribution to value a traditional cultural asset of Brazil.
