A magnificent Grand Tour Style Sienna Marble Model of the Temple of Castor and Pollux, transformed into an exquisite lamp, from Italy in the 1950s. This large-scale marvel features a well-carved replica of the ancient Temple of Castor and Pollux, situated in the Roman Forum, Rome, Central Italy. Standing at an impressive 35 inches in height to the top of the finial and 19.75 inches to the top of the column, the model measures 10.75 inches in width and 5.25 inches in depth. It is elegantly raised on a verdigris brass footed rectangular plinth, enhancing its classical appeal.
The piece has been rewired and is ready for shading, promising to illuminate any space with historical architecture. This Temple of Castor and Pollux lamp seamlessly combines artistry, history, and functionality, making it a timeless addition to any discerning interior space.
