Rare design, good size and beautiful atmosphere creating table lights. This rare and timeless pair of handcrafted, mineral stone table lamps is another one of our recent great finds. Because of their good size, coloring and timeless design these handmade alabaster lamps will look perfect in all kinds of interiors and on top of all kinds of tables. However, to us, these are the ideal atmospheric lights on either side of a credenza or sidetable (a larger one than the one we used in our images). In all our years of selling antique and midcentury alabaster lights we have never seen this stunning geometrical design before and both on and off they really are a joy to own and to look at. Whether you place them on a side table or further apart on a credenza, the natural beauty and the warm light that this pair radiates truly brings an atmosphere that cannot be duplicated. We have sold many stunning alabaster pendants and chandeliers, but we never had the pleasure of offering a pair of alabaster table lamps of this design and size, let alone a perfect pair of this timeless beauty and in such excellent condition. They weigh 20 pounds lbs each and another reason why these rare lights have such a calm and atmospheric look and feel, is because the alabaster shades are closed at the bottom. With the bulbs being placed where they are and thanks to the square design of the shades, these lamps also 'throw' a beautiful light pattern on the wall behind them. We have said it before and we'll say it again here, but the warm light that they radiate and the unique atmosphere that they create in the evenings simply cannot be caught in a photo. When the light is switched on, the marvelous vein patterns that mother nature has created (over centuries) in this mineral stone come out in their true glory. Mind you, this pair will arrive rewired to the highest standard for safe & immediate usage in the USA as well and when purchased by an American client we will even attach American sockets and power plugs, so that they can be used and enjoyed upon arrival.
