About the Item
A 1950s desk lamp in the style of Jacques Adnet featuring a sculptural shade and body clad in green leather with stitch detailing. It has a curved, adjustable brass stem with a beautiful patina. This lamp has a circular catchall detail on the base and a demilune leather handle. Unmarked. Sourced in France, 1950s.

- Condition:Refinished. Rewired: This lamp was professionally rewired for U.S. use with a new socket and cord with an inline switch. Accepts one candelabra light bulb. Wear consistent with age and use. Good vintage condition. The leather has been restored but does show signs of age and wear, including marks and indentations, concentrated on the lampshade. A beautiful patina to the brass stem and detailing.
