Hand Carved Sculptural Stoneware Table Lamp by LGS Studio

$2,500

About

The Lithic Lamp is a monolithic stone sculpture. A part of LGS's "Tephra Series," the lamp is inspired by nature's power, ancient mountains carved by glaciers, lava frozen in time, earthquakes, and living volcanoes. Growing up in the wake of the volcanic explosion of Mount St. Helens, the LGS craftsmen designed the Lithic Lamp to be reminiscent of a vesicular volcanic rock created during an eruption and blankets the landscape. Each lamp is hand-built, meticulously carved, then layered with multiple stains and glazes to create the desired effect. Individually hand-built, no two are exactly alike and are as unique as objects found in nature. Details: Patinated brass finishes. Fully dimmable with on/off dimmer knob, medium (E26) base. Made with UL approved components.
