Harald Bing (1848-1924) for Bing & Grondahl unique Art Nouveau table lamp in porcelain decorated with coloured beech branches, fitting with foliage of brown patinated metal.
Signed at the bottom in blue: To Johanne and Poul, 1904 and signed HB.
Height without mounting 40 cm. Height with mounting 71 cm.
Presumably a gift from Harald Bing (1848 - 1924), technical manager of Bing and Grondahl from 1868, to Poul Simonsen, vice president from 1904, Director from 1915 to 1944, married to Johanne Bing, daughter of Harald Bing.
