Ilmari Tapiovaara 'Maija' table lamp in brass and white for Santa & Cole
Founded in 1985 in Barcelona, Santa & Cole produces iconic pieces by such luminaries as llmari Tapiovaara, Miguel Milá and other European icons with a commitment to faithfully re-edition their legendary designs with uncompromising attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship.
The 'Maija' table lamp, designed in 1955 by Ilmari Tapiovaara, was inspired from typical Baltic cities, where public lighting was scarce and instead streets were illuminated by light streaming through the window shades of adjacent homes. Featuring stacked metal discs through which the warm light filters outwards, the 'Maija' table lamp is executed in metal shades, matte brass legs and a white translucent methacrylate diffuser. Today the 'Maija' continues to be meticulously crafted to Santa & Cole's exacting standards using the highest quality materials available.

Illuminated via integrated dimmable 12 watt LED providing 346 lumens of 2700K color with CRI 90. Powered by 6.5' black cord, with integrated dimmer switch. This lamp is UL listed and IP20 rated.
