Italian Vintage Steel Table Lamp

About the Item

The lamp, completely in polished steel, is made up of a solid round base from which a stem develops softly upwards, on which two short arms are fixed at the ends of which are placed two adjustable spheres that contain the bulbs; is a typical architecture of the 1960s. In the continuity of the 1950s, the design of the 1960s leaves room for freedom and innovation. The design explodes in a variety of styles and movements, giving space to roundness, freedom of form and movement, lightness, and simplicity. The lamps of that period are characterized by essential volumes that recall the geometric shapes. The curved, round, spherical lines that definitively break with the rationalist tradition are preferred. The materials are cold, shiny, metallic. Our lamp with a simple and essential design hides an ingenious, innovative, and practical soul, ready to shed light according to our needs; a model that is the result of careful stylistic research, in line with the historical period that took place between the past and the future.
