J.A. Coderch 'Disa Mini' table lamp in white for Tunds. Called by Pablo Picasso "the most wonderful pendant lamp in the world," this sculptural and organic piece was designed by renowned architect J.A. Coderch in 1954. It has since become a much sought-after icon of Spanish midcentury design. Lovingly re-editioned by TUNDS, it is fabricated with high-quality materials, exacting craftsmanship, and abiding respect for the environment. Executed in white satin methacrylate with semi-gloss black anodized aluminum rings sourced from Germany. Price is per item. Coderch gained significant recognition throughout his career, winning the architecture FAD awards in 1960 and 1972. Founded by Rafael Salvador, the great-nephew of the J.A.     Large 'Disa' Suspension Lamp in White by J.A. Coderch for Tunds. Called by Pablo Picasso "the most wonderful pendant lamp of the world," this sculptural and organic piece was designed by renowned architect J.A. Coderch in 1954. The iconic 'Disa' has since become a much sought after icon of Spanish midcentury design. This newly authorized re-editioned by Tunds embraces all the technical, functional, material and aesthetic requirements laid down by the master architect, including those which could not be resolved in his time due to technical limitations. It is now loving fabricated in choice of natural Oregon pinewood (FSC) veneer specially treated to gain flexibility, or satin white methacrylate, and coupled with machined and anodized aluminum block clamping rings made in Germany. Price is per item. Available to order in unlimited quantities in choice of two sizes as well as two finishes. Also available to order as a table lamp, please see our separate listings.
